With easy access to the nearby cities of Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham and the Tyne Tunnel, the George Washington is well placed for the nightlife of Newcastle and for visiting the Metro Centre, one of Europe’s largest shopping centres. The hotel offers 103 en-suite bedrooms, including large executive rooms, all with colour television with in-house movies, trouser-press, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and 24 hour room service.
